A: Yes, the “Snug” is available to rent for parties of up to 25. The Snug is a private room with the ability to be closed with curtains and served through a discrete window. Please fill out our contact form to learn more.

Q: Is the location handicap accessible?
A: Placebo is located on the ground level providing an accessible entrance. Our bar and drink rail have lowered sections to accommodate guests further. There are two gender-neutral and accessible restrooms.
Q: Why is the bar called “Placebo”?
A: Placebo (n.) Latin “I shall please”. The word has its roots in hospitality and we have adapted it to play off of the old medical application of alcohol used to “solve” ailments.
Q: Where is the best place to park and is parking free?
A: Our complimentary parking options include a 400-spot covered parking garage along with 100 surface spots with direct access to Placebo.
Q: Is this bar open to the public?
A: Yes, we are open to everyone.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: We have no required dress code but we recommend smart casual attire.
Q: What kind of food do we offer?
A: We offer an assortment of gourmet popcorn options made in-house to satisfy light appetites.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: Reservations are not required however they are recommended for large groups and peak hours.
